Chad Ackerman is a hobbyist photographer with a talent for capturing the beauty of his subjects, whether person, animal, or landscape. Proof of this is on the KC Pet Project website where his logo is on many of the images. We do not include his logo here, choosing instead to feature one of our favorite photos of one of our favorite ladies, Ramona. For many more photos of the beautiful guests who have passed through the Kansas City Pet Project, visit Chad's Facebook page.

Allison Gardens

Allison Gardens is an independent artist and horticulturist located in Minneapolis, MN. Allison is all about using her talents to honor the earth, educate others, spread joy and do good. Her new line of upcycled dog wear sprang from the desire to use the “whole buffalo” while making her upcycled garden clothing. All of the fabrics used are natural and super soft. We are super excited to make these available with sales supporting Rosie Fund. The Allison Gardens Dog Wear Collection is Peaches Approved!  To see Allison's art, clothing and dog wear, follow her on Facebook and Instagram @allisongardens.

Amity Woods Animal Hospital is a full service animal hospital featuring state of the art equipment and surgical facilities. The facility also offers doggy daycare and boarding.

Located in Berkley Riverfront Park in Kansas City, MO, this unique destination combines a thoughtfully designed, fully-staffed dog park with a modern bar, restaurant and coffeehouse. It brings engaged, community-minded people and their dogs together to share connections with their pups and each other in a joyful and creative space.

BluePearl Veterinary Partners is a community of hospitals that offer specialty and emergency veterinary medicine. BluePearl is wholly owned by employee veterinarians and veterinary professionals and locally managed by experienced, community-focused, and service-minded veterinarians. Rosie was treated at Kansas City's Northland location at N. Oak & Highway 152.

How does Peaches always look so beautiful? She mostly comes by it naturally but sometimes she does need some professional grooming to help that natural beauty show through. That's why we take her to see Tonya and her colleagues at Fur Babies Salon. We first met this talented stylist when Rosie fell in love with her at another establishment. When she opened her own salon, Peaches insisted we follow her to Liberty, MO. If you have a cat or dog who has fur or nails (as many of them do), you should, too.

Kansas City Retired Greyhounds as Pets is dedicated to finding loving homes for retired greyhounds. Though there are no longer greyhound racing tracks in Kansas, the National Greyhound Association remains headquartered in Abilene, KS, along with numerous greyhound breeding farms. Of these greyhounds, some never make it to the track, return to these farms after racing, or are used for breeding, and the lucky ones are then released to adoption groups to find their forever homes.

KC Pet Project is a 501c3, nonprofit charitable organization operating the Kansas City, Missouri Animal Shelter. We care for more than 9,000 animals a year and work collaboratively with Animal Control and other animal welfare organizations to increase the number of homeless pets adopted, and focus on lifesaving programs promoting pet retention, identification, lost pet reunions, and pet ownership education throughout the community. The KC Pet Project is creating a No Kill Kansas City – we’re passionate about lifesaving!

PRCKC's mission is to decrease pet homelessness, increase pet retention and improve the quality of life for pets through education and supportive services for families in need. They are the only targeted spay neuter program in the Greater Kansas City area working to help all families in need regardless of financial means.
